INTEGRAL CITIZENS 'SCHOOL: curricular propositions for youngsters of high school

Abstract

The objective of the present study is the integral education model implemented in the state of Paraíba in the year 2016. The general objective was to analyze how the actions of the Integral Education Program in three schools in the state of Paraíba in the years 2016 and 2017, contributed to the integral formation of the students. The approach chosen for the development of the research was qualitative. As a method, documents were used as the data source, more precisely, the Political Pedagogical Project and the Action Plans of the schools investigated, located in 3 municipalities in different regions of the state. The research was carried out in two stages: in the first one, we proceeded with the analysis of the Training Books of the School of Choice Model, which were distributed as program leaders; in the second, we analyzed one of the pedagogical projects of the participating schools and three Action Plans prepared for the year 2017. At the end of the investigation, it was concluded that, in order to contribute effectively to the development of the lifeprojects of its students, the model, the Citizen of Integral School model needs methodological adjustments, to materialize an integral and full-time education.
