Interaction of the National Police with local self-government bodies in order to ensure public order

Abstract

The article examines some aspects of the interaction of the National Police with local self-government bodies in order to ensure public order. The study of legal concepts of police interaction with local self-government bodies was conducted. Determined are some ways to improve the activities of the National Police in the process of interaction with local self-government bodies to ensure public order. It was emphasized that police-public cooperation is aimed at identifying and eliminating problems related to the implementation of police activities and promoting the use of modern methods to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of such activities. It is noted that the main subjects of law enforcement in the country are state law enforcement bodies, since, in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine, they are endowed with special powers in the field of law-enforcement activity. The necessity of developing a systematic methodology for organizing the interaction between the units of the National Police and the local self-government bodies and the public is outlined in which the goals and tasks, the separate concepts and aspects of such interaction, its principles, directions concerning maintenance of public order and safety, namely: objects and heads of interactions; types of interaction, features of mutual information; channels of information transmission; the peculiarities of the use of special means and forces of police, which are in divisions; methods and terms of checking the effectiveness of the interaction. In the future, there is a need to consolidate such a method in a certain form of regulatory regulation as a set of organizational and legal actions, taking into account scientific evaluation, which will be the subject of further scientific research.
