INTERLINGUAL SEMANTIC CORRELATIONS OF PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS CHARACTERIZING A PERSON IN UKRAINIAN, RUSSIAN AND GERMAN

Abstract
The article is dedicated to the comparative study of Russian, Ukrainian and German phraseological units characterizing a person. It deals with different types of phraseological unit correlations, their structural, semantic and functional features. The author examines equivalent, semi-equivalent and non- equivalent phraseological units, presented by lacunas in another language, and analyzes paradigmatic groups (synonymic series, antonymic pairs) in different types of phraseological unit correlations.
