INTERNATIONALIZATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION OF GEORGIA IN THE CONTEXT OF THE KNOWLEDGE ECONOMY

Abstract
The article examines the importance of higher education in the formation of the knowledge economy, analyzes the current state, the main trends, positive and negative aspects of the higher education system in Georgia, and shows the possibilities for deepening the internationalization of higher education and related problems of education quality. Participation in the processes of internationalization, including in the Bologna process, is considered as a means of solving the problem of increasing the competitiveness of higher education in the country
