Intersections of dramatic arts and music education

Abstract
INTERSECTIONS OF DRAMATIC ARTS AND MUSIC EDUCATION The contribution focuses on the possibilities of applying the elements of music education within the theory and practice of drama education in the education of undergraduate students – the future elementary and secondary school teachers. Implementation of music education to the subject of Drama education in the study programme ‘Teaching comprehensive subjects’ allows the participants: a) learn how to use the aforementioned educational art subjects as the possibility to create a positive atmosphere in the classroom by creative education; b) activate students in educational process. The theoretical part of the paper is illustrated by the examples from the educational practice compiled by the authoresses.
