Investigation Of The Influence Of Psycho-Therapy With Matrix Model On Abuse Greed And Life- Expectancy In Amphetamine Addicts

Abstract
The present research aims to determine the influence of psycho-therapy with matrix model on abuse greed and life-expectancy in Amphetamine addicts. Research methodology was semi-empirical and sectional with pretest and posttest with two control groups. Statistical population of the research included all Amphetamine addicts who referred to Dr Mousavi's center for addiction treatment in Sari city. Sample size was 80 and sampling was conducted by means of two-step systematic categorical method. Sample members were put into three groups: first group: addicts who had referred to the center out of family persistence. Second group included addicts who had referred to the center willingly. The third group included addicts from the previous two groups. In order to collect data, abuse greed control questionnaire, abuse greed test questionnaire, Miller's life expectancy questionnaire and interview forms: SCH1, SCH2, CAL1 and CAL2 were used. Data were inserted into SPSS and were analyzed in two inferential and descriptive statistical formats and by means of variance and covariance analyses. Results showed that psycho-therapy with matrix model can influence on abuse greed control. In this group, life-expectancy patients also are in the same conditions.
