Isoquinoline alkaloids from Monodora crispata Eng. and Diels, Monodora myristica Gaertn. and Monodora tenuifolia Benth. (Annonaceae)

Journal Title: International Journal of Pharmaceutical Science Invention - Year 2018, Vol 7, Issue 6

Abstract

Three compounds namely (-)-xylopinidine (1), (-)-N-methylarmeparvine (2) and (+)- menispermine (3) were respectively isolated for the first time from the leaves of Monodora crispata, Monodora myristica and Monodora tenuifolia (Annonaceae). Their structures were established according to their spectral data (NMR, MS, IR and UV).
