Abstract
Статтю присвячено вивченню поглядів лінгвістів ХІХ – початку ХХІ ст. на проблему застосування історико-культурного аспекту в етимологічних дослідженнях запозиченої лексики. Підкреслено необхідність урахування неформальних ознак як важливої умови для встановлення правильної етимології слова.
