Journal Title: Argotica - Year 2018, Vol 0, Issue 1
Abstract
Jazzologist, argotologist and neologist: Boris Vian, transmitter and creator of jazz words Boris Vian is not just a writer. An accomplished musician and crazy jazz lover, he has contributed, thanks to his immense talent, to a rare erudition and a hard work, to make this new music better known to the French public, thanks to the innumerable critics he wrote for years. This article aims to show how, at the forefront of journalistic criticism but also as a musician and simple fan, he has also been, more than just a witness, a true transmitter and creator of jazz words
