ЄВРОПЕЙСЬКИЙ ДОСВІД ДИВЕРСИФІКАЦІЇ ТУРИСТИЧНОЇ ПРОПОЗИЦІЇ ІСТОРИЧНИХ МІСТ ТА ЙОГО ВИКОРИСТАННЯ В УКРАЇНІ

Abstract
The European peculiarities of the diversification of the tourism offer of historical cities are revealed on the example of Polish and Portuguese experience and directions of its use are determined in the conditions of the Ukrainian city of Kamyanets-Podilsky and the Polish city of Tarnov. These cities combine their rich historical and cultural heritage, the presence of powerful medieval defensive structures, the population size (slightly more than 100 thousand inhabitants) and modern administrative status (provincial center). In the 20's of the twentieth century. in these cities there was the capital of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the Ukrainian National University, which is especially interesting for tourists from Ukraine. But Tarnov now accepts four times more tourists (1 million a year) than Kamyanets. Marketing measures are proposed to increase the number of tourists in Kamyanets, in particular, by entering new international markets (Israel, Lithuania) and expanding tourist offers (dark and mystical tourism), as well as, based on the Portuguese experience, the placement of conceptual hotels and restaurants in the historic buildings in the city of Kamyanets-Podilsky.
