One of the surgeons who had many contribitions for spinal surgery, John Howard Moe, lived between 1905 and 1988. He is called as a frontier of spinal surgery because of his contribitions for development of modern scoliosis treatment, teachness and openminded personality. His famous resident was Robert Winter.
