Justification of changes in forest management and use of wood in radionuclide-contaminated territory

Abstract

The main directions of forest management whicht require some changes because of radioactive contamination of forests as a result of Chernobyl accident are presented. Characteristics is given to the main normative documents regulating the forest management and the use of forestry products in radioactive contaminated environment. Distribution of forests on groups depending on the level of soil and forest products radioactive contamination is proved.
