Abstract
Ortadoğu’nun en etkili ve önemli devletlerinden biri olan İran, özellikle 1979 İslam Devrimi ile birlikte hem bölgesel hem de uluslararası alanda en çok konuşulan ülkelerden biri haline gelmiştir. İran’ı bu denli önemli kılan nedenlerin başında ise ülkenin sahip olduğu jeopolitik konumu ve yer altı kaynakları gelmektedir. İncelenen bu kitap İran’ı, İran içerisinden bir bakış açısı ile ele almakta ve ülkenin toplumu, siyaseti, tarihi ve coğrafyasını kapsamlı bir şekilde incelemektedir.
