LABORATORY TESTS OF THE USE OF BELT CONVEYOR ELEMENTS FOR MOULDING SANDS

Journal Title: Tribologia - Year 2018, Vol 281, Issue 5

Abstract

The article presents the results of research on the wear of belt conveyors’ elements made of various materials. For the purpose of the experiment, a test stand was built, reflecting the real working conditions of the conveyor belt, on which abrasive tests of samples made of appropriately selected materials and a control sample of steel were carried out. Obtained wear values indicated the most wear-resistant material.
