L’EVAPORATION DES LACS DE BARRAGES DANS LES REGIONS ARIDES ET SEMI ARIDES : EXEMPLES ALGERIENS

Abstract
Cette étude a montré que les volumes d’eau perdus par évaporation dans les lacs de barrages sont beaucoup plus supérieurs à ceux perdus par l’envasement. En moyenne, le volume perdu s’élève à 250 millions de m 3 pour une superficie de 350 km 2 des 39 grands barrages étudiés, soit une perte de 6,5% de leur capacité totale. L’établissement d’une carte de prévision de l’évaporation et l’obtention de relations entre l’évaporation et la superficie des lacs permet d’estimer le volume d’eau évaporée pour tout barrage en projet ou en exploitation.
