Leadership in the protorenaissance humanistic tradition (Dante Alighieri, Francesco Petrarca, Coluccio Salutati)

Abstract
Annotation. Purpose. The purpose of the paper is to analyze the views of A. Dante, F. Petrarca and C. Salutati on the ideal ruler, his place, role and basic principles in management, professional qualities and character traits. Methodology of research is based on general scientific and special methods: logical and structural analysis, system analysis, analysis and synthesis, generalization and systematization, comparison, grouping and structural and system classification. Findings show the revolutionary ideas, views of the forerunners of the Renaissance and management: after a thousand years of medieval contempt for the person it was proposed to put him in the center of the ruler and subordinates subject- subject relations. Therefore, the ruler had to confirm the status of his origin, his outstanding personal qualities, and the ability of fair administration in the interests of the subordinates on the basis of the ruler's authority and credibility on the part of subordinates Thus, the paradigm of management based on the principles of leadership has been forgotten from the time of antiquity. Practical value. The results of the study are important for understanding the humanistic potential of the leadership's management paradigm, its origin and stages and difficulties of its formation. Therefore, they emphasize its value, socio-political and practical significance for modern management, the possibility and necessity of development in response to new social challenges.
