Leadership of the director in school management

Abstract

Directive leadership is defined by the ability of the manager in charge to motivate his team to fulfill the institutional vision to carry out the objectives using the legal and necessary methods for its effect. Therefore, the leadership of the directors is one of the factors that contribute to educational quality, due to the fulfillment of the function assigned to each element that makes up the educational body, this is reflected directly and indirectly in the learning of the students. learners. The objective of this study is to analyze the impact of the director's leadership on the school management of the “Península de Santa Elena” and “Eugenio Espejo” Educational Units through the application of the qualitative-quantitative investigative approach to improve administrative processes. The results of the study research determine the need for more democratic leadership that allows the participation of each educational actor. Likewise, it is reflected that the leader has deficiencies in the domain of technology, lack of knowledge and management leadership strategies, limitations in communication processes which do not contribute to the adequate management of the institution to offer a quality educational service
