Legal aspects of the professional liability of a property appraiser - selected issues

Abstract
The aim of this scientific work is a thorough analysis of legal regulations regarding the professional responsibility of a property appraiser. At the beginning, the figure of a property appraiser was illustrated with particular emphasis on his qualifications. Next, attention was paid to legal regulations and substantive basis, in which the principles of proper conduct in the profession of a property appraiser were defined. Moreover, the consequences of the property appraiser have been illustrated in the event of failure to perform the tasks entrusted to him or failure to comply with applicable law. In addition, the work has been enriched with the latest judicial decisions in the area of professional property valuer’s responsibility.
