LEGAL PROTECTION OF THE MARINE ENVIRONMENT

Abstract
The article is devoted to the definition and problematic issues about legal protection of the marine environment and also to the systematization of knowledge about conservation of living marine resources. Analysis of key positions of international law and national legislation of Ukraine is based on the Environmental Law’s theory. As a result, author suggests researching the legal protection of marine environment in the field of Environmental Law taking into account provisions of International Maritime Law.
