Legal regulation of citizenship in the Russian Empire in the late XIX – early XX century

Abstract
The article highlights the situation in Ukrainian lands, which were part of the Russian Empire. The main issue that was considered in the article was regulation of the citizenship. And especially it highlights the value of the citizenship, the conditions for its acquisition and loss. The paper designate basic point of view of Russian and Ukrainian jurists about the citizenship of Impire.
