Linguistic Means of Explicating Ethnic Stereotypes in the Texts of the German-Language Literature of Migrants

Abstract
The article is devoted to the research of linguistic means of explicating ethnic stereotypes. Based on the examples from the fiction texts of German-speaking migrant writers, the means of linguistic expression of auto- and hetero-stereotypic beliefs of Germans and Poles were described. The author determined distinctive features of these ethnic communities and defined the author’s role in describing stereotypes.
