Abstract

Abstract Themselves as "the most God fearing nation" as defined by the Syrians, the Turks for centuries lived in the same territory. millet system located within the Assyrians in the Ottoman Empire, they were considered citizens of the Republic of Turkey with the Lausanne Treaty. Syrians and Turkey, the remaining citizens in Turkey, saw support from the Syriac diaspora Coming up with the problems they encounter from time to time. Assyrians issues that the essential elements of the Republic of Turkey In this study, the state of the historical process by considering the expectations and aspirations of Syrians have tried to explain where they came and focused on the consequences of this situation.
