Abstract
The purpose of this research; It is to determine the frequency of publication of education, socio-cultural, environment, health, labor market and employment news which can contribute to the lifelong learning of readers in daily local newspapers published in Bartın province. The frequency of publication of health, education, socio-cultural, environment, labor market and employment news in the daily local newspapers in Bartın was scanned by frequency analysis method included in content analysis techniques. Socio-cultural, environmental and health news were found to be close to each other in the five newspapers examined, but it was found that the frequency of publication was different due to the seasonal effects of educational news. In addition, the labor market and employment news had the lowest publication frequency among all the newspapers.
