Losy księgozbioru klasztornego benedyktynów sieciechowskich po kasacie opactwa w 1819 roku

Abstract
The article discusses the fate of the monastic book collections of the Benedictine monastery in Sieciechow after the dissolution of the abbey in 1819. Until the suppression took place, Sieciechow had affluent monastery library, which collections remains a valuable source for research on the state of intellectual culture of the Sieciechowski convent. The article discusses the main events related to the post-dissolution fate of Sieciechow library, with particular emphasis on the circumstances of the scattering and destruction of significant part of the monastery's library collections. The article presents the current preservation state of the book collections and determines the research potential which create in the context of further studies on the library heritage of the monastery.
