Lymphoma without Peripheral Lymphadenopathy: An Approach to Definitive Diagnosis by Flowcytometry
Journal Title: Haematology International Journal - Year 2017, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract
Splenic lymphoma with circulating villous lymphocytes (SLVL) is an indolent B-cell neoplasm. Because of its rarity, a definitive diagnosis often becomes difficult. In this study we are going to discuss about two cases of SLVL. Despite being a variant of lymphoma peripheral lymphadenopathy is not found in such cases. Careful analysis of blood or bone marrow sample by flowcytometry may be helpful in getting the correct diagnosis.
