Main directions forming of Ukrainian information society in early XXI century

Abstract
In the article the basic directions of formation of information development of Ukrainian society are reviewed. Status is found and the primary areas of information development in the transformation of society are determined. The information policy is analyzed and the problems of interaction between society and government are reviewed. It is established that the development of information society in Ukraine is one of the strategic objectives of our country in the near future. In addition, it is indicate, that an important prerequisite and a determining factor of the information system in Ukraine is activation in Western Europe integration processes in economy, politics and other fields. It is shown that the information developed in the social and political process of Ukraine has an important political and educational role. It adds to the dynamics of public political life by introducing them to intra-social and foreign, world political events, which are sometimes more or less concerning Ukraine.
