Journal Title: Міжнародний ендокринологічний журнал - Year 2014, Vol 1, Issue 57
Abstract
The problem of choosing the tactics of the management of patients with adrenal incidentalomas is topical without doubt, considering the widespread use of modern instrumental methods for topical diagnosis. Despite the vast majority of hormonally inactive adrenocortical adenomas, in each case adrenal incidentalomas should be considered from the standpoint of hormonal activity and the possibility of a malignant process. This review presents the possibilities of modern laboratory and instrumental methods used for the examination of patients with adrenal incidentalomas.
