Maqbul as Terminology, its Use and Meaning according to Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani in his book Taqrib At-Tahzib

Abstract
This study presents a discussion on one of the terminologies for hadis practitioners which is maqbul, its uses and prerequisites according to Al-hafiz Ibn Hajar, as well as its uses among previous hadis experts before Ibn Hajar. The study includes the opinions of contemporary hadis researchers about the term maqbul. This sudy employs the descriptive methodology and it aims to determine the precise perception towards the status of maqbul hadis pratitioners according to Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar.
