Mary Parker Follett – wizjonerka nauk o zarządzaniu

Abstract
Mary Parker Follett jest pionierką teorii zarządzania, której idee znacznie wyprzedzały myśli współczesnych jej osób. Idee te okazały się również bardzo trafne i aktualne wiele lat po jej śmierci, a szczególnie w obecnych czasach. Niesłusznie często w literaturze przedmiotu pomija się prezentację jej dorobku naukowego, pomniejszając jego znaczenie dla nauk o zarządzaniu. P. Drucker określał Mary Parker Follett mianem proroka zarządzania, a D.W. Linden matką zarządzania. Follett jest bowiem autorką wielu definicji i spostrzeżeń o ponadczasowym charakterze. Celem artykułu jest przybliżenie postaci Mary Parker Follett oraz przedstawienie jej dorobku w najważniejszych obszarach organizacji i zarządzania.
