Abstract
The questions of the development of the artistic and entertainment spheres are highlighted at the present stage. On the basis of the Nikolayev Regional Art Museum named after V.V. Vereshchagin, problems of organizing and holding mass theatrical holidays in museum cultural institutions are explored. Cultural and educational work of the museum is analyzed on the example of the events «Night of Museums» in the period 2011-2017.
