Mathematical model of the optimization of the technological development of coal mining in Ukraine
Journal Title: Проблеми загальної енергетики - Year 2017, Vol 0, Issue 1
Abstract
We have developed a mathematical model of the optimization of the technological development of coal mining, which is focused on increasing the production efficiency of mines by the criterion of their overall output. The model built as a mixed integer programming problem enabled us to identify the options of technical retooling of the faces of mines, providing the branch competitiveness in the global coal market. We have calculated the predicted outputs of mines and the corresponding coal cost after modernization as well as the necessary investments provided that the maximum predicted production volumes is reached in 2030.

Environmental implications of the use of electric heat generators for the compaction of electrical load schedules during the night depressions of the UES of Ukraine
This article presents the results of our analysis of the environmental implications of using different types of consumer regulators (electric boilers, heat pumps and cogeneration units), intended to regulate the load of...
Revision of the possibilities of the models of equilibrium prices and outputs in the theory of intersectoral balance
Based on the performed analysis of numerous publications containing the models of equilibrium prices and outputs in the theory of intersectoral balance, we have proved that the use of transposed matrices of direct cost i...
Possibilities of the introduction of electric heat-generators in district heating systems of Ukraine
This work is devoted to a detailed analysis of statistical parameters and results of the energy audits of district heating systems (DHS). Their contribution to the heat supply of urban settlements is determined. We also...
Forecasting fuel and energy consumption levels taking into account energy saving potential in the context of structural changes in the economy
A methodological approach and a mathematical model are presented to forecast the final consumption of fuel and energy resources taking into account the energy saving potential provided by the structural (inter- and intra...
Enhancement of the efficiency of burning low-reaction coal in the swirl burners of boilers at their high-concentration dust supply under pressure
We describe the results of investigating the work of swirl burners of TPP-210A boiler of a 300 MW power unit at traditional and high-concentration systems of dust supply and the influence of these technologies on the eff...
