MENINGKATKAN KESADARAN METAKOGNITIF DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM SOLVING

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to increase metacognitive awareness and student learning outcomes through the application of Problem Solving learning. Learning outcomes include the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects of temperature and heat. This research was conducted with classroom action research conducted in 3 cycles consisting of: planning, implementation, observation, evaluation and reflection. Research data obtained through metacognitive awareness questionnaire, students also completed LKS practicum which serves as a metacognitive questionnaire control. Student learning outcomes were taken with multiple-choice test techniques for cognitive learning outcomes, practicum activities and presenting practical results for affective and psychomotor learning outcomes tailored to affective and psychomotor indicators. The conclusion of this research is through the application of Problem Solving learning has a positive impact to increase metacognitive awareness and student learning outcomes.
