METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO EVALUATING THE EFFICIENCY OF ECOLOGICAL INVESTMENT PROJECTS

Abstract
The paper introduces methodological approaches for assessing the efficiency of ecological investment projects in relation to capitalizing the forest socio-ecological resource, that allows to determine the basic input parameters of the project's economic analysis, which are: the volume of production that could be identified at certain stages of the project implementation; the price of each assortment unit of socio-ecological services. The volume of production is estimated as an indirect total economic effect that could be generated by socio-ecological functions of the forest. The price of socio-ecological services is assessed by the method of natural rent or by the royalty method, depending on the nature of its consumption: continuous or discrete.
