METHODOLOGICAL BASES OF RECONSTRUCTION OF THE PEDAGOGICAL SYSTEM OF VASYL SUKHOMLYNSKYI IN THE EDUCATIONAL SPACE OF THE NEW UKRAINIAN SCHOOL

Abstract
The article deals with the method of reconstruction as one of the most important in the historical and pedagogical science. It was found that this method of holistic vision of the studied historical and pedagogical phenomenon serves to restore the events and processes of the studied past with their consequences: from the known at the end of historical time to the unknown. The analysis makes it possible to confirm that the methodological bases of the reconstruction of Vasyl Sukhomlynskyi’s pedagogical system in the educational space of the New Ukrainian School are based on the principle of interaction between the present and the past, the modern researcher and the author of the pedagogical system, and an important feature of the method is its complex nature. Reconstruction as a method provides for a number of mandatory stages of the actual procedure, which can be represented in the form of an algorithm of actions: determination of the direction of reconstruction, purpose and tasks, substantiation of its chronological boundaries, taking into account the peculiarities of the historical time of existence of the studied phenomenon; substantiation of theoretical model of research and formulation of hypothesis; identification of sources (the actual selection of documents and their source analysis); analysis of texts as the main sources of information, procedure for interpretation texts (works of V. Sukhomlynskyi, like: pedagogical works, articles and extract from works in periodicals and collections, works of art (poems, fairy tales, stories), epistolarias, etc.); assessment of the importance of the ideas being researched for modern pedagogical science and practice; comparing the results obtained with the purpose and objectives of the study; the result of reconstruction, which reproduces the real course of facts, the formulation of a coherent theory (concept, vision) on a particular issue; revealing the creative potential of the studied pedagogical phenomenon. It has been proved that the methodologically correct organized reconstruction procedure should be presented as a complete system, which includes a set of elements: researcher as a representative of modern culture and scientific knowledge - source (in our case V. Sukhomlynskyi’s works) as an object of historical and pedagogical study - the subject, the creator of the text who embodies the culture of the past. The result of the reconstruction is the formation of a new educational space, which arises in the process of interaction between the pedagogical works of V. Sukhomlynskyi and the researcher.
