МЕХАНИЗМЫ ПОЛИГОСТАЛЬНОСТИ БАКТЕРИЙ
Journal Title: Журнал ÑтреÑÑ-физиологии и биохимии - Year 2007, Vol 3, Issue 2
Abstract

Drought Tolerance Induced by Foliar Application of Abscisic Acid and Sulfonamide Compounds in Tomato
The effects of exogenous abscisic acid and two sulfonamide compounds: Sulfacetamide and Sulfasalazine were studied on tolerance of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill. cv. Super chief) under drought stress and compared...
Response of rice plants to heat stress during initiation of panicle primordia or grain-filling phases
Leaf photosynthesis, a major determinant for yield sustainability in rice, is greatly conditioned by high temperature stress during growth. The effect of short-term high temperatures on leaf photosynthesis, stomatal cond...
Use of Phenols, Peroxidase and Polyphenoloxidase of Seed to Quantify Resistance of Cotton Genotypes to Damping-off Incited by Fusarium oxysporum
A greenhouse test was conducted in 2011 and 2012 growing seasons at Giza Agricultural Research Station to evaluate the reaction of six cotton genotypes to damping-off incited by Fusarium oxysporum. Damping-off inc...
Influence of NaCl Salinity on β-carotene, Thiamine, Riboflavin and Ascorbic Acid Contents in the Leaves of Atriplex hortensis L. var. Pusa Bathua No. 1
Vitamin contents of plants are also known to show altered metabolism under the influence of salinity. Not much of work has been done on the influence of salinity on the vitamin content in higher plants. The influence...
Effect of Ethanol on Germination and Enzyme Activities in Finger millet (Eleusine coracana Gaertn.) Seeds
Influence of ethanol the end product of alcoholic fermentation on the growth of finger millet (var. GPU-28, CO-9) seedlings of two finger millet was studied as a means of evaluating growth responses under anoxia. The ger...
