Microdermabrasion – skin rejuvenation care treatment

Abstract
The types of microdermabrasion procedures, indications and contraindications for treatment, as well as the principles of operation of devices, are described. The effects of stimulation of skin by mechanical abrasion and the possibility of combining microdermabrasion with other treatments that affect the skin’s appearance, are discussed. The importance of compliance with the recommendations after the microdermabrasion procedure, for prevention of adverse changes, are underlined.
