The paper discusses the various socio economic factors that determine whether an individual will be able to start and operate an enterprise and also the probability of success.The paper deals with the demographic profile of the respondents that include ,place, location of an enterprise the experience and training received by the respondents.. Further, paper discusses various reasons to start the enterprises.
