Abstract
The article presents the results of the analysis of the press’ content in terms of appearance of notions, which add to the composition of myth of the Eastern Borderlands. The study of press’ material has mainly led to defining general characteristics of the social myth in contemporary Polish-language press media published in Ukraine.
