Mobile application of the curator of the academic group as a means of developing the social competence of students

Abstract
The article is devoted to the search for effective methods of developing social competence of applicants for higher education. It is noted that social competence is a necessary component of the preparation of a modern graduate of a higher education institution that allows him to feel freely in socium, society, and to fulfill his professional duties, and avoid conflicts or resolve them in a timely manner. The formation and development of social competence of the future specialist is carried out in accordance with the competence-based approach, the introduction of which is one of the ways to modernize the content of higher and secondary education. It has been determined that information and communication technologies have significant advantages in improving the quality of the educational process during the introduction of distance learning, the use of massive online courses, the use of visibility. For the formation of social competence, multimedia technologies, educational electronic resources, independent work using information and communication technologies are used. One of the promising ways to ensure quality education is mobile technologies associated with the use of mobile devices in the process of preparing applicants for education. Analysis of modern research has shown that a smartphone as a learning tool has such characteristics as mobility, compactness, interactivity, accessibility, ability to work in a group, ease of use. It was determined that the curator of the academic group, which is an intermediate link between students and structural units of the educational institution, corresponds to the process of educating young people and their socialization in a higher education institution. The article reports on the development of a mobile application by a curator of an academic group, the use of which during extracurricular work contributes to a better socialization of young people in the modern information society. The structure of the developed mobile application consists of the following blocks: Curator, Groups, Students, Parents, Social status, Circles, Marriage, Notebook. The mobile application is designed for curators and deputy deans for educational work. As further research, it is planned to increase the functionality of the mobile application.
