Model of Penetration of the Impact Projectiles in Metal Barriers. Part 2. Penetration of Deformable Rods in Deformable Barriers
Journal Title: Problemy Mechatroniki. Uzbrojenie, lotnictwo, inżynieria bezpieczeństwa - Year 2013, Vol 4, Issue 3
Abstract
Using the adopted in [1] general concept model of impact projectile action it is shown how to solve the problem in relation to the penetration of deformable projectiles (rods) in a deformable barrier. The obtained results show the basic regularity of process of penetration and the dependence of final effects on the speed of impact and properties of interacting elements. Some results are illustrated by selected examples.
