MODELAGEM FUZZY PARA A GESTÃO DE SUPRIMENTOS: UM ESTUDO DE CASO SOBRE A AQUISIÇÃO DE INSUMOS

Abstract
The current environment inside and outside organizations is dynamic and full of uncertainties. Managers are overloaded due to the complexity of organizational processes. The daily demands of fast and assertive decisions require the use of decision- making tools that could increase the quality and speed of decision-making process. The need to manage projects of modernization imposes constant improvement of the processes of purchasing goods. Tradition with suppliers is not the only form of action, but knowledge of the cost / benefit relation contributes with the improvement of the management process. The objective of this work is to classify the inputs in a Qualiquantitative manner from the perspective of Fuzzy Sets (CF), which lists “value” and “time of delivery of the goods by the supplier.” The fuzzy logic system favors the interaction of these variables by the Fuzzy Inference Machine that correlates antecedents and consequents with the generation of Fuzzy Logic rules. This proposal was applied to a public company that should decide between suppliers originating from organs located abroad or not. In acquisitions via exterior, there was a higher incidence of “Acquisition outside the timely” (40.43%), while this specification to the domestic market was almost half (20.93%). Acquisitions that could be considered “at risk delay” were more frequent in the Private Sector (25.58%), while when being purchased abroad, the rate is halved. The model adopted has facilitated decision making of the manager responsible for the acquisitiont of goods related to the work routine.
