Abstract
The article substantiates the necessity of using mathematical modeling tools for the needs of region sustainable development, proposes the integrated ecological-economic index calculation model, proves the application of three-factor functions (factors of industrial development, nature protection investments and structural changes in the economy) for the optimal managerial decisions choice, formulates proposals on further directions of scientific and practical research in the field of sustainable development requirements implementation into the regional social policy practice.
