MODERN APPROACH FOR ATHEROSCLEROSIS EXPERIMENTAL MODELING

Abstract
Today there is no comprehensive theory, which explains and takes to consideration all aspects of atherosclerotic process. Question about early diagnosing of atherosclerotic changes still to be solved. Asymptomatic period of the disease on the early stage of the process, moral-ethic problems, insufficient technical supplement and necessity of new therapeutic approaches development provokes the search for ways of atherosclerotic process modeling on animals. New experimental model of atherosclerosis, the base of which is the influence on transport of lipids on the level of tissues, was presented. It was shown that the change of heparin rate in the blood of experimental animals in the case of food hyperlipidemia leads to the decrease of functional activity of lipoprotein lipase, which causes the disturbance of lipid-transport system. Change of architectonic of elastic fibers was observed in aorta and arteries of the experimental rats. Thickening of intima, disorganization of media, leukocytes accumulation in media and between media and adventitia were detected. Determination of the early damaging markers of cardiovascular system can give a possibility to prevent the disease on the early stage before the development of organic changes in internal organs and systems, contributing to prevention of unfavorable cardiovascular accidents and sudden death of the population.
