MODERN STATE OF THEORETICAL AND APPLIED RESEARCH TO IDENTIFY AND INVESTIGATE THE SALE AND DISTRIBUTION OF PORNOGRAPHIC ITEMS IN THE INTERNET

Abstract
The article assesses the state of theoretical and applied researches on the detection and investigation of the sale and distribution of pornographic items by the Internet. On the basis of the classification proposed by the author, the special emphasis in the study focuses on the achievements of domestic scientists in the field of criminalistics, operative and investigative activities, including on counteraction to certain types of crimes committed with the use of information technology in the Internet. The existence of solid scientific research on the problems of combating crimes against public morality, morality in the field of sexual relations, prevention of sexual exploitation and crimes related to sexual violence was stated. At the same time, attention is focused on the lack or fragmentation of the consideration of issues related to the peculiarities of the detection, documentation, investigation of sales and distribution of pornographic objects by the Internet. Taking into account the above, we state that the state of scientific development of theoretical and applied and organizational and tactical foundations for detecting and investigating the distribution and distribution of pornographic objects by the Internet is ineffective in the absence of special, comprehensive scientific research in Ukraine. Taking into account the widespread spread of such crimes in Ukraine, it became necessary to carry out a comprehensive monographic research on the topic chosen by us in order to solve these issues. Based on the systematic analysis of statistical data of the National Police of Ukraine, the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, criminal proceedings, the expediency of comprehensive scientific development of the theoretical and applied aspects of detection and investigation of this crime has been substantiated, and the directions of such development have been determined.
