MOLECULAR COMPLEXES OF GERMANIUM TETRACHLORIDE WITH NIACIN, NICOTINIC AMIDE, ISONICOTINIC HYDRAZIDE AND THEIR PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTIONS

Abstract

Synthesized in different organic solvents and characterized by elemental and X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetry, IR spectroscopy molecular complexes of germanium tetrachloride with niacin, nicotinic amide and isonicotinic hydrazide. Determined that in obtained compounds the coordination of the ligand is due to the unshared electron pair on the nitrogen atom of the heterocycle. Proposed structure of the complexes. Showed their high antihypoxic, hepatoprotective, antioxidant and membrane-stabilizing activity of the synthesized compounds.
