Molecular detection of inv A and spv virulence genes in Salmonella typhimurium isolated from human and animals in Iran
Journal Title: Scientific Journal of Microbiology - Year 2015, Vol 4, Issue 7
Abstract
In the present study, multiplex Polymerase Chain Reaction (m-PCR), simple PCR assay was used to confirm Salmonella typhimurium and detect Salmonella plasmid virulence (spvA, spvB, spvC) genes in human, bovine and poultry isolates.

Polymorphism of Flagellin gene (fliC) of Clostridium chauvoei isolates from Iran
Flagellums have been reported to play a critical role in the protective immunity in host. In clostridia genera it is coded by flagellin (fliC) gene. Previous southern blot analysis has suggested that Flic gene may has tw...
Gamma irradiation effects on microbial decontamination of ostrich meat
In this work effects of gamma irradiation and storage time on microbial decontamination of fresh camel meat stored at 4˚C were evaluated. Microbial analysis indicated that irradiation had a significant effect on the redu...
Sweat Based Blood Glucose Analysis
Painless and reliable glucose monitoring for diabetes is the battle of the next generation. As technology advances, both diagnostic techniques and equipment are designed to work non-invasively. Glucose monitoring become...
In-vitro antibacterial evaluation of ethanolic stem crude extracts of anacardium occidentale linn. (anacardiaceae) on streptococcus mutans associated with dental caries
The preliminary phytochemistry and antibacterial activity of ethanolic stem crude extracts of Anacardium occidentale on Streptococcus mutans isolated from dental caries were determined using chemical, standard microbiolo...
