Morality and the international protection of human rights.

Abstract

Morality or ethics is considered as a specific form of public consciousness and public relations (moral relations). It includes a total combination of principles and norms of human behavior towards society and other human beings. Moral standards represent the ideals of the good and evil, such as justice and injustice, dignity and humiliation, equality and inequality, humanity and cruelty, friendship and betrayal etc. People need these standards according to which a good should be awarded and the evil should be punished and thus human behavior and relations are improved. The United Nations clearly designated human rights as a theme central to each substantive field of its activity. Henceforth, human rights became an integral tool for the promotion of peace and security, economic prosperity, social equality and justice. All its activity confirms that, although ethics or morality are not right based, human rights are based on morality and ethical principles.
