MOTOR ACTIVITY Of NORWEGIAN PUPILS IN THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Abstract

The article focuses on low motor activity of schoolchildren in Ukraine. Only 30 % of adolescents in Ukraine are able to fulfill the standards for assessing physical fitness without risk for health. It is ob-served low level of pupils’ functionality. Research purpose is to improve the system of physical education based on the experience of specialists in the field of physical culture in Norway. Lot of attention is paid to the analysis of the way to school, as the field of motor activity of schoolchildren. Norwegian experts con-cluded that there is correlation between the level of motor activity during adolescence and indicators of physical health in later periods of life. The results showed a lack of intensity of motor activity of pupils during physical education lessons. It is recommended to include tools and methods that promote strength-ening of the musculoskeletal system of pupils. Different kinds of physical activity are applied in Norway, taking into account climatic features of the country. In 2016 it was proposed to increase physical activity of pupils to one hour per day for all types of schools
