NATURAL VULNERABILITY OF GROUNDWATER TO POLLUTANT ON MANAGEMENT AREA

Abstract
Investigation area is located in north west part of Warsaw, in Bielany quarter. On this area evaluation of the vulnerability of groundwater to pollutants was conducted. In evaluation of vulnerability three methods were used: time of seepage by unsaturated zone, Mean Residence Time and infiltration conditions. Mean Residence Time it’s the most reliable from applied methods. This method consider all of most important factors, also land management, which is particularly important in evaluation vulnerability on urban area.
