The paper concerns the meaning of the notions relating to individuality in Quaestio disputata De unione Verbi incarnati by St. Thomas Aquinas and their Polish equivalents. The aim of this paper was not to comprehensively discuss the issue of individuality, but to present various ways of translating such notions as individuum, particulare, singulare, suppositum, subiectum, subsistentia into Polish
